This is a story about choices, about the old, forgotten days of an undiscovered Lisbon, and its dark alleyways, and elegant hand-painted posters.
Handmade and hard loved by Henrique Costa e Hugo Passarinho, it is a story more than 20 years in the making, which began with a random sentence, loosely spoken on a lazy afternoon: How about making a movie about a cop and a dog? And not soon enough, we did.

This is more than the story of a dog, a cat, a butcher, and the city of Lisbon. It's also about a tram, a french bulldog and a lamp.
We quickly began drafting the first characters, the earliest of which was the policeman, a tiny fellow with a large moustache. Traits which, to this day, remain.
We had big plans for our story, and we knew that Lisbon had in her the perfect scenery for the intricate events that would follow a seemingly casual encounter between the police and the law of the streets.
This short movie has won no awards – yet – so this text will change for sure if we ever do. We plan to!
